• Apply & Reapply sunscreen in the AM and throughout the day the days leading up to your treatment 
• Do not wax, shave, or use hair removal creams 1-2 weeks prior.
• Avoid direct sun exposure 1-2 weeks prior to your service. 
• Avoid chemical exfoliants such as retinol, lactic, glycolic, salicylic, and benzoyl peroxide 2 weeks prior to your service.
• Avoid exfoliating the week of your service
• Avoid antibiotics 1-2 weeks prior to your service

After-Treatment Recommendations

To support your skin’s healing and maximize the results of your medical grade facial, follow these aftercare tips:

• Avoid direct sun exposure and diligently reapply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher every day.
  Use gentle, non-irritating cleansers and moisturizers recommended by your provider to maintain hydration and calm skin.
• Skip exfoliating products for at least 48 hours or as instructed after your facial to prevent irritation.
• Avoid deep facial peels or treatments 4 weeks after your service.
• Wait at least 2 weeks to receive any cosmetic injections.
• Avoid makeup for 24-48 hours post-treatment.
• Follow the customized skincare regimen we provide, including FaceReality products formulated specifically for your skin’s needs.
• Avoid heat, saunas, steam, and sweating excessively for 2-7 days after your facial. Your licensed provider will provide more detailed instructions based on the treatment you received that day.
