Most Commonly Asked VI Peel Treatment Questions
What does the VI Peel treatment involve?
During your session, a licensed provider applies the peel solution evenly across your treatment area. The peel works by loosening and removing damaged skin cells, which your body then naturally sheds over the following days.
How long is the recovery period?
One of the VI Peel’s benefits is its minimal downtime. You may experience slight redness or mild peeling starting about 2-3 days after treatment, which usually lasts 3-7 days. Most clients can return to their normal routine quickly. When it comes to results, Vitality Institute’s products are absolutely unparalleled, producing healthy and lustrous skin in as little as 7 days.
- Days 1-3: Skin may feel tight and appear darker or bronzed.
- Days 3-7: Peeling is most noticeable. It’s important to avoid picking at the skin and allow it to shed naturally.
- Day 7 onwards: Most peeling has subsided, revealing smoother, brighter skin. Continued improvement is expected as the skin fully heals.
How many treatments are needed?
Many clients see visible results after just one VI Peel. However, depending on your skin goals, your provider may recommend a series of treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart to maximize and maintain your results.
